Responsibilities:

• Review of the completeness of the findings or findings required for discussion. Imaging
• Self-employed research regarding, if necessary, missing findings and/or images
• For special surgical questions: written contact with the sub-specialists nominated by the surgical discipline
• Written documentation in the electronic ORBIS tumor board mask during the tumor boards “Preparation” or “preparation.
• Printout of the relevant documents for review by tumor board chief representatives of the UK for internal medicine III
• Preliminary consultation with the Head of Tumor Board Representative of the UK for Internal Medicine III, delegated tasks for preparation and administration of the tumor board. Follow-up (e. g. B. Requirement and termination of further investigations, consiliar ideas, etc. )
• Increasingly independent preparation of the medical documents required for the discussion of cases
• Scientific evaluation of indications, decisions and their implementation (quality control)
  Establishment of parameters that facilitate the unambiguous identification of diagnoses
• Testing and co-establishment of tools (commercial manufacturers and own products) that allow an optimal electronic processing, discussion and documentation of the data
• Collaboration in the establishment of interfaces to other documentation systems

Fields of activity

The III. Medical University Hospital Salzburg is responsible for the care of patients with haematological, oncological and rheumatic diseases as well as disorders of coagulation and infectious diseases (especially HIV) as well as palliative medicine. The clinic has 115 beds.

The appointment as a senior physician is possible according to the career model of the SALK.

Remuneration acc. State Employees’ Salary Act

for senior physician: income scheme 2, income band 20, depending on the period of prior service, but at least
monthly gross € 6,063. 70 for full employment (excl. Services and special class charges)

for specialist physician: income scheme 2, income band 18, depending on the period of prior service, but at least
monthly gross € 5,154. 60 for full employment (excl. Services and special class charges)

for assistant physician: income scheme 3, income band 13, depending on the period of prior service credit, but at least
gross monthly € 3,975. 10 for full employment (excl. Services and special class charges)

 

Technical requirements

• Specialist: Completed specialist training Resident doctor: Completed studies in human medicine
• Language level at least. B2, ideally C1
• All requirements for entry in the Austrian Medical List must be fulfilled
